Parents are the key!

Parents! You are the key to a child’s building new skills.  This is because you are almost the only ones who can have the child practice the new skill for a few minutes every day!  (Sometimes Grandparents, an older sibling, or an au pere can take on this role.) All of our data shows that those few minutes of practice every day build a new skill twice as fast as practice in chunks (like once a day in class in school, or scheduled practices in most team sports).  In some cases, students make no progress unless the practice occurs every day! So let CyberSlate be your guide.  It is designed to present and coordinate skill-buliding exercises that will make it possible for your child to practice the right skills at school, home,  or at Grandma’s, every day, including weekends and holidays.
